Pierre van Rensburg, the owner of SetMeUp, started in the Stock Broking industry in 1979. In 1981 he became a dealer on the old JSE equity trading floor and later managed the trading desk. In 1991 Pierre became a qualified Stockbroker and a director of PLJ Financial Services.
Pierre was instrumental in the change-over from the open outcry system to electronic trading and was a member of the team creating saInvestor.com, one of the first online share trading companies.
In 2002 Pierre started his own company Gamlot.com, which operates in the IT field, including Website design, Web hosting, Internet marketing, Voice over Internet Protocol (VOIP), etc.
His knowledge of the Sanlam iTrade platform, JSE trading and his computer skills makes him the ideal person to train Sanlam iTrade customers on the set-up and use of the system.
